Personal Photographs.
Selected Images
2005 - 2019
Though I've never considered myself a professional photographer, I have spent many years documenting my life through the medium. The attached images are my evidence of this. I believe pictures are a really (maybe even the most!) important means of creating a record of experiences. While some of these images were created as assignments from magazines or books, the majority are instead just my personal snapshots. Pictures taken while traveling, working on projects and hanging out with friends. The images span the globe from Los Angeles to London, Paris to Milan, New York to Tokyo. Some are digital , but many were shot on film. For years I carried different vinatge cameras around whith me wherever I went. Some of the pictures here were only scanned for the first time when I decided to put these out into the world. It should be noted that this is just the tip of the iceberg. There really were too many images to include here, but I promise to keep updating this page regualrly with recently shot plates as well as things I've dug out from my archives. It's a pretty fun batch of works. One day I'll think about putting everything together in a book but for now I hope you enjoy the images here.
“Photographs are a way of imprisoning reality...One can't possess reality, one can possess images--one can't possess the present but one can possess the past.”
― Susan Sontag, On Photography
